How do I paste code blocks?

Comments

You can post code right now by just including them normally in a paragraph via copy-and-paste or typing them out manually. After saving, the composition editor won't format the code.

However, if you want to post blocks of code in a COMMENT, you'll have to change the less-than and greater-than symbols into their HTML character code counterparts, < and > respectively.

<span style="color:green;text-align:center;">This line shouldn't appear as green text centered to the screen, for example.</span>

Thank you for your quick response.

But uhmmm, I wanted to use different style code blocks and normal paragraph for more readability, if I could.

And obviously span stuff ugly. it fixes color style parmanently, and it cause a problem when I change blog theme, IMHO.

Ah, well, I don't think that's possible at the moment. Vox is advertising its services as a "pick up and go" sort of blog, where one doesn't need to spend time learning HTML or CSS or designing in order to post. So I guess they left out those advanced features (features that you and I both would like implemented, ne?) for now so they could work on more important things.

I hope they'll implement HTML editting in posts soon, though. Like you, I find the current composition editor quite lacking.

I can see your problem ... maybe the best thing to do for now is going to "feedback" page and give it a rant.

OK. I'll feedback this issue and wait update :)
Thanks sirs.

I'll continue posting feedback as well. This will be one of the things I'll report about. Good luck!
